References to “you” and “your” shall be deemed to be references to person placing an order via this website.
General Information
Your contract for purchases made through www.richleighshoes.com is with Sterling and Hunt Limited and you undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale.
You warrant that all details you provide to www.richleighshoes.com for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will have their details passed onto the Police.
Sterling and Hunt reserve the right to terminate our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately and without notice to you if:
- you fail to make payment to us when due.

- when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, sufficient information - to enable us to determine the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity.

Placing an Order
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Sterling and Hunt to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. All prices include sales tax. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate, please refer to the Delivery information.
You must check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.
Our Guarantee to You
We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to hold stock of all styles and sizes whilst a product is active. However, sometimes certain items from our collections are more popular than our forecasts had predicted. In cases such as these, availability of an item may be low or it may become out of stock.
In rare occasions, the availability of a product may be misrepresented on the website. When we process your order, we will inform you if any products you order turn out to be unavailable and where possible, we will attempt to locate any stock for such orders from our stores. You will be notified of this and the additional items, if sourced, will be sent to you at no additional cost. If, however, we are unable to locate your item, we will offer you an alternative. We will refund your order if we are unable to provide a desired alternative item.
Conformity of Goods
Every care has been taken to ensure that the description and specification of our products shown on the website and in our catalogues are correct. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products. Furthermore, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the differences in browser software.
Delivery
All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. We aim to dispatch all orders that are in stock within 2 working days. Please refer to deliveries and shipping pages for more information.
Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order. If you are ordering more than one item, your goods may be sent to you in installments if certain items are out of stock.
If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
Payment
We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit or debit card. We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta and Maestro. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 15%. Any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them.
All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of dispatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time, any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.
Returns Policy
If you are not entirely satisfied with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt. We will be happy to provide an exchange or refund, providing the items are returned in perfect condition and where possible in their original packaging with all tags attached.
Please complete the form, clearly indicating the reason for return and whether you require a refund or exchange.
Please then reseal the item in its original packaging, including all paperwork, and return to Sterling and Hunt. We advise all customers to obtain and to keep the proof of postage. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. All refunds will be issued to the same payment method as the original order and may take up to 14 days to complete.
Please note that our sale items have a 7 day return policy. This is to enable us to process the return item and put it back into sale online before the sale ends.
If your items were purchase from a non-Sterling and Hunt website, please return your item to the retailer, not to Sterling and Hunt. As we cannot accept returns for items not purchased directly from ourselves, Sterling and Hunt Limited. Please note that their terms and condition may vary from ours.
Unfortunately we are only able to receive returns through the postal service.
Liability
We reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. We may modify these Conditions at any time by posting the Conditions on our website.
Sterling and Hunt does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither Sterling and Hunt nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Sterling and Hunt or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.
The limitations of liability in these conditions shall apply equally for the benefit of Sterling and Hunt and any other associated company of Sterling and Hunt as if references to Sterling and Hunt included references to each such associated company.
While Sterling and Hunt uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Sterling and Hunt will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.
While Sterling and Hunt takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.
